Have you ever heard of the prophesied battle of Armageddon (Eze. 38, 39, Rev. 16:13-16)? It is the last war on earth, when Jesus Christ returns to earth (in His glorified/resurrected body) to rule the world.
One of the nations involved in this coming war is Persia (Iran). Well - in the article posted below, here is the Army Commander of said country, saying (basically) that he intends to annihilate Israel. Just another reminder - the battle of Armageddon is still coming, just as Jesus said!
