Lakewood Church Shooting - Feb. 12, 2024

The details are now emerging from the Lakewood Church Shooting (Pastored by Joel Osteen) that happened Feb. 12th, 2024. A Transgender (man by birth) "woman" by choice, named Genesse Ivonne Moreno opened fire at the Mega Church in Houston Texas, before be fatally wounded by gunfire from Houston Police Officers. According to reports gathered by Fox News, neighbors of the shooter, who lived in Conroe Texas, say the individual was mentally unstable and constantly created problems for many residents on their same street. Neighbors say the transgender individual gave much of the neighborhood literally years of harassment and threats, but the complaints of the neighbors were virtually ignored by the police. The shooter often made false reports that the shooter's neighbors were stalking Moreno and the seven year old boy whom he claimed to be his son.

Moreno was from El Salvador and had a criminal record longer than a boring Broadway Show. Moreno would curse his neighbors, and try to intimidate them showing his guns and flashing his "Hail Hitler" signs. According to the Houston Police Department, there was antisemitic writings found at the shooter's home, and the rifle used in the shooting incident at Lakewood had a "Palestine" sticker on it. The shooters Grandmother said, "Although my former 'daughter'-in-law [speaking of the shooter] raged against Israel and Jews in a pro-Palestinian rant yesterday, this has nothing to do with Judaism or Islam. Nothing! But this is what happens when reckless and irresponsible reporting lets people with severe mental illness have an excuse for violence".

Regardless of the cause, this is just another example of Christian and Jewish persecution that is on the rise around the globe. From a biblical prophecy point of view, scripture prophesies that persecution like this, and far greater will only increase until the return of Jesus Christ. It's time for us all to get our spiritual houses in order, as we never know when it's our time to go home.
